Heroes among us

Last night there was a group of police officers dressed as super heroes called heroes, cops and kids. They tales to the kids about how they can be heroes too by reporting bullying etc.

I officially have a young teenage adult in the house...where did the time go???

Logan's birthday was celebrated with lots of love and fun. I treated him to an embarrassing morning happy birthday serenade at breakfast :) As well as some of the great moments from his birth...lol. His greatest joy lately is to try to gross me out or to somewhat render me speechless ;) So I just thought I would return the favor...HaHa! The Dallas Aquarium was truly a splendid place. A lot of the birds were out in the open; free flight as well as some of the animals such as the sloth.

We did Aric's dressing change in the early morn . I was a little worried because it had come off in his sleep but all was well thank the good Lord :) 

I know the stitches are healing cuz Aric is complaining of itching...lol

Thursday was an exciting day. I learned that I won't have to go see the doc this weekend; instead I get to do the dressing changes at home..yay! I also found out that we can schedule the next surgery as soon as this one is all healed up and I don't have to wait for Christmas break...yay! That way I know Aric and I will have somewhere to stay cuz RMDH is crazy busy over the holidays.

Logan my birthday boy...he is officially 14 yrs old today:)

My oldest troll became a blessing a week early 14 yrs ago. Despite all the drama with his teenage forgetfulness I wouldn't trade him for the world...ok so some days I may think about it..lol. God has done so many wonderful things in his life thus far & I can't wait to see what else God has in store for my lil knight in shining armour :)
